Upholstery

Post by Jilly »

I have always loved re-covering things,I have done a three piece suite, antique children's chair, quite a few dining chairs, this stool...at some point I need to polish the legs and fix the trimming down, but you get the idea

That looks great. I have a chair from Mike's parents that I would love to refinish as it is the only one that I fit in and it is in need of new stuffing and material but I have no clue as to where to start or what to use. Someday I will build up the nerve and maybe the knowledge. I wish you were closer so you could do it for me. :D

Wrinkles are part of upholstery, you just make them do your bidding
I just use the old covers as templates, stuff with the nearest match to the original, and choose the fabric I like :D

Thank you all for your lovely comments
