Kezzy's First SAL - Castles in the Air

I have decided to do my first SAL

. I am doing "Castles in the Air" from Papillon Creations and have chosen the speciality stitches one. I need to order some of the threads and my fabric so as soon as I have all my materials, I will post a piccie.

I'm really looking forward to seeing your SAL progress with this one. I keep thinking should I, shouldn't I and might yet join in this SAL too. The problem is, I can't decide if I would like to do it in speciality or cross stitch

It'll be great to see yours and it might help me make up my mind and get me started too!

I'm thinking about doing this one in the special stitches, too. Just waiting for my fabric to arrive so I can figure out the colors. Look forward to watching yours.

i did it too! but..i am waiting for the email so i can download it..hope it comes soon.i paid and all. I will be doing this when i do my castle too..lol..

so i paid an hour ago..how long does it usually take to get the email so I can download the part? I know the payment went through..

C_F, I got mine almost immediately. Do you have a different e-mail linked to paypal that it might have gone to? If not, e-mail Yvonne and let her know. Someone from another forum was having the same problem. Hope you get it worked out!

yes that is exactly what happened..the paypal is hooked to my hubby's email..so right after I posted that comment, i logged into his..and there it was..got it printed out now.

guess I forgot to get back on here and let you all know..lol

Everyone who has bought this might want to double check their e-mails for a revised version. When I logged into my e-mail this morning, there was a new message stating that they had discovered a few mistakes in the original so a new copy was sent out.

I went onto the site to look for it, but didn't find it easy to look for.

Here is a picture of the special stitches one. The cross stitch version is very similar.

It' very pretty, but myself I wouldn't even know where to begin on these other types of stitches.
