Here's another update. All I have to do is finish her hair, press it and mount it on a card so I'll finish that today and then do a final piccie. Funny, I've never really done the freebie kits you get on mags before, but this one has turned out perfect for a gift. This picture hasn't actually come out that well - my lazy daisies look much neater and not closed up in the "flesh" so to speak!

All finished - here's the last bit of stitching done - the ornaments in her hair were a nightmare!

Thank you, everybody. I was really pleased how it came out. Not bad for a little freebie kit!

Anyway, we're going to see my Mum this afternoon to take her the bookmark, a stitched Mother's Day card and two Foster & Allen music tapes. She lives 30 miles away and Simon will be going back home to spend the day with his Mum, first thing tomorrow morning (leaving me with no car) so my Mum gets to see us today.

It's also Simon's birthday today and my Mum has a present for him so everyone's getting a treat (even me as I got to start a new stitching project!)
