Map SAL

Post by Midge »

This is an ufo that I found whilst sorting my stash.
It is a map of my part of the world that I was doing to go in our hallway.
As you can see, I have made a start but as you can see from the chart photo, quite a bit is missing and I do intend to get this completed asap as the black on my cat's eyes is driving me crackers :D

My husband is green with envy as he is from Sheffield, Yorkshire so you have to finish it so that I can keep on taunting him with it.

You really have a large amount of stitching done and yes there is still a bit to go but what a wonderful pattern. I need to check the web and see if they have this type of map for areas in the USA.

Do keep us posted on your progress. Looks great!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with every one that this is a neat design. I haven't seen the map patterns until I joined on here. You've got so much done that it would be a waste to leave it as a UFO! It would definitely be a good break from Cat's Eyes! You can always think of each building as a mini project if that helps get thru it.

Glad you've picked it up again, it's always rather sad to think of UFOs languishing in cupboards under the stairs. *thinks with embarrassment of one or two she's been quite happy to let languish herself....*
