Just compared your pic with the original, and I have to say I prefer yours - it doesn't in the least matter that your trees are darker, it just adds a more dramatic effect, rather than just pretty-pretty. Well done in making such an improving mistake! :lol: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Thankyou. I am really glad I made the error. I think the green it's supposed to be is far too bright (DMC472). It is used elsewhere in the flowerbeds and
it's way too vivid a colour to me for the trees. I remember the first time I did it they looked rather insipid. Now the house really stands out..

Love the way in which the garden being added is giving the whole piece depth. Lovely project and the right colours for the trees has improved the picture so well done for making that change.

Spent all day stitching, decided to do something else for the evening.(a change is as good as a rest???) I need to finish a biscornu.
I hope to have this finished by the weekend (baring complications of life). It's late for a birthday (Jan 29th). Oh well, she doesnt mind.
