Time for another update from me, unfortunately not much progress this time round as I'd just about sickened myself of it the week before when I'd been off work! just a bit more done around her face, this was at 3rd of November. Also still doing the highlighter thing to get all those leaves in the right-hand corner filled in! It gets it done pretty quickly but maybe not as satisfying to watch appearing as nice big solid blocks of stitching might be?!
Anyway here is the pic, I'd almost used up 2 skeins of black already!

The branches and leaves look almost photographic, all those confetti stitches are definitely worth it!

Time for another update from me, I've skipped forward a couple of weeks, so this was at 17th of November....

Image

Inga, the finished design will be about 15 x 22 inches...

Still ploughing on through the leaves but also made a start on her dress! the bright pinks/reds looked too bright at first but it was one of those moments where eventually if you take a step back and look at it again, you can see how it works.
Also some of the colours used for the shading on her neck seemed very odd (hubby said at this point she looked like one of the Indiana Jones crystal skull skeletons what with the long, thin grey neck!!) --- but she is meant to be Snow White, and I guess if they'd used darker shades of pink, she'd have ended up looking a bit flushed!
