This is looking fantastic, how do you get so much done so quickly
I agree about the black and think next time I will try 3 strands when I am stitching a block of black
Also thanks for the tip about highlighting the same stitches on the whole page Iwill try that when I start my mystic stitch (on my to do pile)
Looking forward to next picture

You got alot done up to the 20th, great progress!! With the highlighter thing too, I have always put a dot of my highlighter in a square when I do the first half of a stitch, and then when working back to complete the cross stitches, thats when I mark the whole of the square on the chart Hope this makes sense lol, but like you said it does make it easier
Awaiting next update!

Re: A Burgundyice Wip - Mystic Stitch
Again thanks for all your lovely comments!! This next update was Mon 27th October, and it's the biggest progress there's likely to be on this from one week to the next, as I'd just had a week off work, only working on this WIP, so got loads done, actually almost sickened myself of it Snow White now has a face!
The eyes were wonderful to do although fiddly as lots of odd little confetti stitches of turquoise, purple & all sorts of colours, but I couldn't leave them as I wanted her eyes to be completed as much as possible.
Also as you can see I went a little bit crazy and went forth on a lonely voyage down to the bottom so I could cut the extra fabric off! That was when I realised this was indeed a big design (and the chart suggests stitching it on 14ct which would have been even bigger than my 16ct!)
Snow White lives at work now & I work on her first thing before starting. I'm afraid since I started my HAED and discovered evenweave she's taken a little bit of a back seat...

Back seat or not, she is wonderful -- and you've got such a lot done! Great to see her face, the eyes are really lifelike.

Wow that is a great picture I love the face. I always try to stitch the face first on my projects.
