Ooh, I didn't realise there were beads in this but come to think of it, on a dreamcatcher it makes perfect sense! Makes it much more authentic! :D

This is the first day this week I've had time for this. On and off I've been stitching a small gift for my stashmas person at work to get a break from all the backstitch on the dreamcatcher! Obviously I can't put a picture of the stashmas stitching until the recipient does or they will know who it's from straight away!

Anyway, got a couple of hours on the dreamcatcher today so I backstitched around the feathers on the left and finished the top part.....not far to go now.

All that's left now is backstitching around the rest of the "wooden" hoop and around the red and orange dangly bits on the left hand side. Then I have to stitch the verse and it's done.

I actually got a little bit done last night after I finished my biscornu. I thought I'd crack on with it both at work and at home so I can finish it. I also want to finish the little stitched stashmas gift I'm doing and then I'll just have the 12 Days Sampler and the Predator on the go. Both are a bit big to do at work, but the Predator has lots of huge black sections which I will be able to manage at my desk - less stuff to spread out. I'll try and not start anything else for the time being, although OH has his tongue hanging out over the dragon design I'm going to stitch for him so I doubt I will be able to hold off for very long

Another quick update without a pic as I'm at work at the moment. I completed all the black backstitch outlining the hoop and dangly bits and so on.

I've started stitching the verse now. I'm not very keen on stitching words, I find them very fiddly to do, but I've completed the first line of it and started on the second. I'll post a photo tonight.

The only other part to do is backstitching a "web" on the inside of the hoop, which is done in DMC 783 medium gold. At least it will make a change from all the black!

Nearly time for me to leave work now - been all on my lonesome all afternoon so I've been stitching like mad. Managed to get 5 out of the 7 lines of the verse stitched. Very slow going, but getting there! I'll finish the other two lines when I get home and then there'll only be the gold web bit to do so you'll get a piccie later. With any luck it will be complete before I go to bed tonight.

I know, Mabel, it's terrible, isn't it, that I have nothing to do at work but stitch? Hehehe.

Anyway, I didn't get the photos done last night because my computer wouldn't connect to the net, so here they are. I finished the verse, but I only just started on the gold web - we rented a DVD last night and I wanted to watch it as it wasn't one I'd seen (The Mummy 3) so I didn't get much stitching done at all as the web requires 100% attention. I'll finish it today.

Here's the verse....

And here's a pic of the whole thing....

You got through the verse quickly Sarah.
It looks alot bigger than I imagined now I can see it all on one piece.

This is beautiful! I love seeing all of the Native American themed projects on here. It gives me so many ideas. If only there were more hours in the day...

Lovely to see it all in one picture (rather than close-ups of bits, I mean) -- the gold is going to really make it sparkle and finish it off beautifully!
