Xmas Cards - Completed

Post by Slinky »

As I can't sleep, I've uploaded pics of the Xmas stitching I've recently completed. They're all stitched onto cream or white evenweave with a sparkle running thru the fabric. Some have beads attached and some have metallics, but you know how fickle photos are for showing the finer details.

Anyhow, thought perhaps you might like a peek ...

In no particular order :

And my personal favourite stitched in metallics using Petite Treasure braid:

And, finally, here's my first attempt at making the card up ...

That's me done for a while.

These are beautiful. Must confess I have a soft spot for cardinals in snow... And your card looks positively professional. Good job all 'round, I'd say! :applesauce: :applesauce:

Absolutely lovely! I stitched family Christmas cards this year - but used fairly simple designs I got from an old copy of Cross Stitcher, they're all stitched entirely in red! Oh it was fun and easy!

My favourite has to be the Christmas pud!

They're beautiful, well done! It's hard for me to pick a favourite as they're all so lovely, but I think the lantern and the Christmas pudding win for me. And the candle. And the cross. The beads are very effective.
