kerbear879's WIP Fractal 112

Post by kerbear879 »

Okay I haven't officially started this one yet but figured it would not hurt to post a picture of what it will look like done. As of right now, I have the pattern printed. I've got the black fabric which is black lugana 20ct, and I'm waiting on the threads to come from an ebay auction I won. The count on this is 400x300 but about 1/3 of it isn't stitched so it won't actually take me forever to finish!

Susan - I got it at http://xs-collectibles.com/ They have so many of these designs! I just love them so much because they are so colorful and unique.

Love these fractual designs but they do seem a bit daunting. The colors are just so exciting.

  Another fractal!! I won't be able to get back to my free pattern one (and the other 4 or 5 I've printed from their site) until the end of the year. I actually have 2 of the CDs on my wish list, but I should take one of them off.

I got to looking at this pattern and I was mistaken about the stitch count. It's actually only about 34,000 stitches all together. So that means almost 75% of this is not stitched. YAY! I might actually finish this one in a decent amount of time. woohoo!

Well I finally got an email back from the girl on ebay that I ordered all the threads from to start this project. I guess she was in a car accident and has been in the hospital. It was her husband that emailed me. I'm going to assume I am not getting what I ordered and I'll have to hit the craft store one of this weekends. Hopefully the girl is okay! I am just a bit peeved that I paid for those threads and now I probably won't get them.

I would ask for your money back and if you get no good response then I would make a report to e-bay. It is sad that she was hurt but you really don't know if that is true and either way they should either return your money or send the product, that is only fair.

I know I agree. It's been over a month now. I looked on her page and looks like no one has gotten anything from her since about the first week of October. I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt and see if the stuff shows up here in the next week or so then I probably will just file a complaint on ebay. This is the first time this has ever happened to me. Everyone just usually sends the stuff right away.

i agree..if he knew enough to contact u then he should've refunded the money..
you can put a claim in to ebay or paypal and let them handle it.

I would advise contacting Paypal immediately for a refund if I were you. Ebay are absolutely no help whatsoever and do not care whether you receive a fair service or not. When you start a complaints procedure with them, you get an automated message saying they are unable to help and that you need to deal with Paypal. Also Paypal only allow you to make a claim within a certain amount of time - I'm not sure if it's 30 or 60 days so it's best to do it as soon as you can. Needless to say, I myself have been let down by Ebay's lack of regard for their customers on more than one occasion!

Thanks everyone! I went ahead and put a claim in with paypal. The cutoff was 45 days so good thing you told me about that! Hopefully I will get my money back and then I probably go to the craft store this weekend and get these threads since I really want to start this project!
