Liking this more & more!! I don't think the colours are iffy! Difficult to photograph and get the true colours isn't it!

Mine's going to be a needle cushion (like a pin cushion only used to park my needle in while I'm sorting out threads or something like that)

Ooh, that's giving me ideas now -- we're away for most of the festive season this year, so no tree :-(, but next year... *thinks of sparkly fabrics decorated with holly and mangers in silks or satins and turned into pretty little biscornu ornaments*

The first square is finished (well, apart from backstitching the whipstitching line around it). And for now that'sgoing to be the last update as I really really need to set up that name plate, which I will go and do the moment I've posted this! For now, here is the front (in Eterna silk); the back will be the same design but in different colours, and in Madeira silk.

That is absolutely beautiful Mabel, but how you are ever going to stick a needle in it, I just don't know.
