I got all of the borders done over the weekend, its looking quite pretty now its got a splash of colour on it.

Image

I'm doing the sleeve today, and i'm hoping to get the head done too today. And i've just figured out whats wrong with the lettering, on the pattern it goes dark grey-mid grey-palest blue-white, the lightest grey has been missed out, so i'm gonna make it dark-mid-light grey-light blue; the fading will be more gradual then (i hope).

I got a right shifty-on with her yesterday, there's only the top border left to do....

Image

i did the lettering last night, but i'm not happy with how the shading working out on it, i'm waiting for it to brighten up so i can see what it looks like in daylight (i did it under 4 artificial lights last night, it started to look a bit 'cosmic' hehe) so i'll probably have to pull a small bit out again and re-do it. I used the sulky stuff instead of wisper on the fluffy thing she's holding (not sure what it is LOL) its a silver thread, the number's wore off the reel.
And Summer is all set up ready to go, :P

A snowball? A star? A little fluffy curled-up polar fox? Whatever it is, it goes well with the whole design :-)

And isn't she coming on well -- gorgeous designs, these. Looking forward to what you decide to do with the lettering!

The pattern itself is beautiful but doing it on that fabric and it makes the whole thing stunning! I can't wait to see what you do for the next one.

Wow you have sped through this since the bad old :ribbit: has left you be. She is beautiful.

I thought it looked like she was holding a muff. I had one as a kid and thought I was so cool, took it every where. Then one day my nasty brother threw it into a mud puddle and that was the end of it. Mom wouldn't even try to wash it out. Said it was getting to small for me anyway. I still don't like that brother. (for more reasons then that )

I thought she had her hands in a fluffy handwarmer. (we used to call them something else back in innocent times  )
