Sending to another country is quite simple actually, the person should give you their full address, such as, if i was to make up a US address, you could take the following address to the post office and it would make it to the US:

Daesania
12345 Main Street
Omaha, Nebraska 68123
United States of America

If you put it in that format, that would make it to that address in the US. I would assume that when we PM our addresses, we should put it in the format that whomever is taking it to the post office should have the least bit of trouble mailing it off

that's right. There might also be customs forms to fill in, but they are very easy, and the post-person will be glad to help.
Take advice, too, before wrapping up your stashmas goodie. In the bad old days, customs men used to unwrap all presents when they arrived in the US (of course, that could have been a failure of humour on their parts, but this was before 9/11).

When it's nearer the time, perhaps a list of hints for packaging might be a good idea for those sending things overseas?

I've sent tons of stuff overseas, i'd be glad to help with that. You are correct, the postal people are very helpful, i know i was confused the first time i filled out a customs form and they helped me - they do this stuff day in and day out

Can i join please but im sorry to say i can only post to the UK after what is going on with CFs mags i have sent there, i sent 3 parcels and not one has got there and they was ment to get there in a week and its been over a month. I now have to fill in 3 forms to see where they are as the royal mail can track them.

Sorry ladies but i dont what it to get lost.
