Well, usually when I use it on its own I use a double strand on 28ct over two, or I use one strand with two strands of cotton for a very subtle sparkle. On the needlecase i used only one of white metallic with three strands of ordinary white, but that's because there I really just wanted a ghost of a sparkle

Quick update on our mate Blastoise.

Not taken in the best of lights I'm afraid but I'll try and get a daylight one next time.
Haven't had much time to stitch with one thing and another lately, but hopefully by the weekend I'll get more time again.

My kids have fun looking at your project! They both love Pokemon and Digimon during their younger years.

Blastoise is officially FINISHED!! YAY!

Picture to come tomorrow as I want to try and get one in daylight to see if you can see the sparkle better.
