Well, usually when I use it on its own I use a double strand on 28ct over two, or I use one strand with two strands of cotton for a very subtle sparkle. On the needlecase i used only one of white metallic with three strands of ordinary white, but that's because there I really just wanted a ghost of a sparkle :-)

Quick update on our mate Blastoise.

Not taken in the best of lights I'm afraid but I'll try and get a daylight one next time.
Haven't had much time to stitch with one thing and another lately, but hopefully by the weekend I'll get more time again.

Wow, you are making good progress! Bet you'll have this done in no time! The added sparkle is a nice touch.
