Sarah's Celestial sun, moon and stars - FINISHED!

I just saw this on ebay and thought "I have GOT to have that!" As well as American Indians and dragons, I love celestial type stuff - stars and planets and whatnot. Unfortunately I've got to wait till Sunday for the auction on this to end (it's a whole kit and is only at £4.99 at the moment - bargain!) so fingers crossed I'll get it. It's a huge design - 38cm x 32cm when finished - although it says it's worked on 11 count Aida so I should think it will grow quite fast. Anyway, here's hoping..........


In the meantime, while I'm waiting to see if I win it, I'll get on with my motorbike piece and take a photo tonight for you to have a squiz at.

I just bought a celestial kit from ebay too. I don't have any plans to stitch it right away (way too many projects ahead of it right now). The constellations around the sun are very similiar to mine.

Getting there - 3 days left to go on the auction and no one else has bid yet. I shall be sure to be logged on at the finish to make sure no one pips me at the post. I'd be gutted as I've got my heart set on this kit. I'm stitching my bike project like mad with the intention of completing it by the end of next week, when I expect the celestial kit to arrive (assuming I win it!)

Have you thought of sniping it? if you go to http://justsnipe.com/ you can get a free account and then it'll bung in a last-minute bid up to your maximum if needed. The difference with eBay's own "maximum bid" option is that you don't start a bidding war with other bidders because your bid isn't entered until right at the end. It's won me a few .

WOO HOO! I won it. No one else bid so I got it for £4.99. I am sending the guy a cheque so I imagine it will be a week or more before I receive the kit, but that's ok as I decided to finish one of my other WIPs first. I thought I'd put them in my WIPs thread rather than here and keep this one for the celestial kit.

I promise! I'm going to finish my World Map first which I'm putting pics of in my thread called simply "WIPs". Then I'll start a whole new thread for the celestial kit when it arrives. I'm so excited to be getting a new kit arriving - I can't wait to get my sticky little mits on it!
