I learnt my lesson and didn't do it again

For someone who came from a family who didn't drink Wine with their meals he was very efficient at draining my bottle of wine before he went on to his beers of an evening

Good progress and certainly worth a glass when a stitching session is over. or before to make sure you are relaxed. or during to make sure you stay relaxed and not get frustrated if you miss a stitch or two. or back to after to make sure you don't get frustrated by missing a stitch or two.

Absolutely agree. It's like my "on hold" Star Wars afghan. Each character is a finish and as soon as the weather cools down , (meaning its in the 60's or 70's F (20 0r 22 C) instead of 90 to 98 F (32 to 36C) like it has been this summer.
