:applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: for those stickers!!! They are perfectly perfect!

Glad you get the table attachment Lowry stand (is it still called a stand?) so you can transport it more easily to and from your classes.

Love the labels -- very professional. And that table stand... oh, my. Am I allowed to acquire a personal birthday present...? (I already know what DH is giving me for my birthday/Christmas, so that slot's taken.)

Can you turn it 90 degrees so that the hoop is right in front of you for stitching or does it overbalance and come adrift from the table?

@stitchingmae - haven't used it properly yet but hope to do so over the weekend or taking it to my stitching group on Monday, so I'll report back!

@Serinde - it feels incredibly solid and sturdy, so I doubt it would come adrift. If the frame was very very heavy and the table not very sturdy it might take a bit out of the table top I suppose :D
As for direction, like the big Lowery you can swing it any way you like, but if you have it pointing towards you you can of course not also tilt it towards you, which is how I usually have my hoops (though not my slate frame), so I clamp it away to my side and sit right behind where the hoop is.

Yes, I do the same. It was just a thought for when my barrel clamp becomes frustrating.

Hi, I have a metre of white quaker fabric if you would like it.
It's cotton/linen mix. I've had it ages and shan't use it. Yours If you want it.

Good selection. Where are the ribbons from (if only because the reel is eye-catching)?

I got the whole lot at Wool Warehouse; the ribbon is called Bowtique Satin Polyester Ribbon, 3mm. It's for my Christmas Wreath kits.

Goodness, it arrived faster than I thought.

I do like Quaker cloth. Not as 'slubby' as linen and a bit softer.

I think it'll look great in the Rosewood Manor Sampler :applesauce:
So pleased that the fabric has found a good home. It's been lurking too long at the bottom of my fabric box.

A book about a convent with an embroidery studio which used to be in a town very near us - the local newspaper alerted me to it!

Good news: the Verycrafty site is back up BUT its changed, they have lost the pull downs for the various brands so its going to take more time to find things to buy AND the free delivery has gone up we now have to spend £30

@Mabel: a lot to learn there!

@Jo: The site is easy to use for someone unfamiliar with the old site, and it seems like every kit is on sale! But no fabric?

Jo, the fabric I sent you came from Sewitall
https// sewitall.com
It's a firm Sally Squirrel told me about. They have a UK site and their fabric is good and varied.
P&p is free over £25.
I looked at Very crafty and could not find fabric.
Also Willow fabrics have good supplies
Hope this helps
:D
