2022 Stashmas Card Exchange List Posted

Post by rcperryls »

This is the list of people who are participating in this year's Card Exchange. Cards must be mailed by December 1. You send a card to the person in the list directly beneath you. The bottom person sends to the one on the top. Names were listed by turning over pieces of paper, each with a name on it and then picking them up and laying down the list. The only editing I did was to make sure there weren't repeats from last year. Please get the address of the person you are sending a card to by November1. And please post when you send your card and when you receive it. Hopefully mail won't be a problem (though it is getting slower over here for sure so please be patient if your card takes longer than expected to arrive). If I left anyone off the list, let me know. I apologize if I did.

Don't forget to get the address of the person to whom you are sending your card by November 1. And don't forget to post when you send your card and when you receive yours. Hopefully the mail services will be reliable. I don't know about the one across the pond, but I have to admit that the reliability over here hasn't been that great recently. and :x: and paws crossed that all goes smoothly.

Hope you all enjoy the exchange. I was hoping and looking forward to joining in but have been so busy just lately I didn't want to add any more pressure. I will enjoy looking at what you all stitch though.

I have done the same. And also love getting post of almost any sort (HMRC the exception, naturally -- the IRS to Americans). I like :snowman: up to a point, but can't even think properly about it until December, so the season stays in its natural place.

Sent and received address.

I am looking forward to Christmas for the first time in many years. I haven’t even decorated in years, but have 2 grandkids coming for a 3 day weekend in November to help me out everything up.

Address given and address sent. And I think I have chosen a design...one step closer. I need to get busy as I will have to get mine in the mail before I leave for a little vacation on November 24.

I'm really excited about the card exchange, even more than I used to be about the original Stashmas gift exchange. I won't be decorating for Christmas this year (will be gone from the December 15th to a few days after Christmas), but this keeps me in the spirit. Thank you, Carole, for organizing this again.

Well, I'm stitching like mad right now, all my spare time between shopping/cooking/etc.
I have 2 cards made, but need at least 4 more for close friends, as well as Xstitch stashmas.
Also making things difficult (I like a challenge) by working on Linda 27ct, but 1 over 1, 27 stitches to the inch, which obviously
makes things harder, not least taking longer to start off, as only 1 thread having to be trapped.
But, my super magnifying lamp is a real boon.
Bring it on!!

Sent & received addresses.
Chosen design, charted it, and will be starting on the first stitches in my lunch break. Have gridded the picture with bright orange monofilament fishing line. Going to have to find all the threads. Have found 4 that were shared with last year's card, the remainder may have to be dug out of my wife Tracy's stash once I've exhausted the colours in my own stash. I know she has every DMC colour, I just need to replace any I have started (on pain of, well, pain!).

Regards,

Richard.

Sometimes it’s the simple designs that cause the most headaches. :thinks:
