I didn't ask her for details. It doesn't seem right somehow. I thought just sending our best wishes and telling her that we are thinking every day about the situation and horrific happenings in which she is living. And, of course, that we care.

No point in asking for details. If she wants to share later it’s up to her and if she doesn’t it’s up to her. What is important is to let her know that we care and are thinking of her. I think it is amazing and encouraging that she has the ability to reply back.

Late yesterday I was sitting here at the computer to see if Lyudmyla had answered my email when one of the staff came into my room to say hello. I had already shared about Lyudmyla etc with this fellow Kiwi and she asked me to send her love and prayers as well which I did.
Anyway last evening I had an answer from Our Dear Friend "Thank You that means a lot".
Such a mall thing for me to do but it obviously means much to her which also says to me that she was in need of something to help lift her up and start her day. Good to be able to help with such a little thing that is for sure.

After seeing pictures of Kyviv destruction on the new clip a while ago I sent an email to our dear Lyudmyla praying hard she is ok. Her message has just come through "I am not in Kyviv thank you for caring" phew I can relax a little bit.

I can understand her reticence in not giving her current living area du t her work as a translator but where-ever she is she is alive at present. Thank Yu Lord for answering our prayers.
