I am a bit more concerned about `Our Lyudmyla". A bout an hour ago I sent her a brief general note and almost immediately back came Yesterday's reply to my email of 3/3/ which was "Thank you so much"".
At least it is a reply but it could imply she is not able for any number of reasons to answer beyond that.
Please keep her in your prayers as obviously life has got 'difficult' where ever she is at this time.

Serinde or anyne else - have you received anything over the last 24 hrs.

I would not read anything more into what she replied: She did take time time read your message and she did reply, which is good very news .

I can imagine when she can get a mobile phone signal or internet connection she will be getting a great many messages from family and friends and while she is very important to us, she will have more important messages to deal with and while she would like to be able to tell us a lot more the reality is her time with communications is limited.

She will have important decisions to make over the next couple of days and with the Russians determined to cut communications lines we may not hear from her for a while but that does not mean bad news.

I haven't received anything in the last 24 hrs. But I wouldn't expect to -- she'll be saving her batteries for family and govt messaging. Equally she could be in a place where there's no reception. War doesn't care that we are worried. And we'll just need to be calm and wait on events, I guess.

I hope she can feel our prayers and concern. The situation is just awful and inecusable, and my heart breaks for Ukraine.

I have had a reply from Lyudmila.

She says...
"thank you Wendy. It does help to live through this knowing that so many people do care.

It's good to get an answer knowing that it must be so traumatic living through the horrifying situation.
