I'm not very good at finishing embroideries (turning them into something, I mean) but I'm quite pleased with this slightly rustic-looking way of displaying one of my little rainbows

That looks perfect to me Mabel, I hadn't thought of covering something and it lying flat, it works beautifully, and such a wonderful message too.

Another idea (if you don't mind) for another time would be to finish in the same way and add a hanging loop at 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock (if you see what I mean) perhaps using the same thread as the word Hope. ( I really hope you don't mind me making a suggestion, though not for this one it is perfect as it is)

I think you have come up with a lovely way to present your embroidery. The description in FoF was. Sry easy to follow. The rainbow is so pretty. And Garnet’s suggestion sounds like it would work also. There is no reason that a project can’t have more than one way to show its beautiful self.
