My English friend, also a stitcher sent me EMS's charts as a present for my 60th birthday 10 years ago. They arrived from crossstitch-corner.de. The envelope contained these Roses in their Splendour, Dahlia Basket, Mother's Bouquet, Seasonal Cottages, and those bunches of wild flower(5 charts)- never can remember the English word for them)- poppies, cornflowers, daizies. That was a royal present as my stitching Daughter says.

What an unusual colour to have amongst the pinks/red ones. It is going to be even more fabulous. I can't wait to see what colour comes next.

Doesn't that yellow contrast beautifully? It lifts it and makes the whole design even more vibrant!

Every new flower makes this piece lovelier. The depth of each flower is amazing!

Better than this was a tablecloth for my late friend who tragically died last May. That tablecloth had these roses on both ends and Ellen Maurer-Stroh's Dahlia Basket in the centre. That was a real piece of work. As usual, I forgot to take a photo before giving it away.

Without a doubt. This piece seems especially beautiful, but I think I say that every time.
