He/she's a nice character to do. I can see why you had to have it

I will have to go and find out what other designs Rachel has done

Paradise is coming along slowly but surely, I'm currently working on the pale blue and whites for his face HOWEVER...

I completely forgot I had started my second Beatrix Potter stitch from the calendar in issue 300 of the World of Cross Stitching magazine a couple of years ago! I already did The Tailor of Gloucester from it and had started Mrs Tiggywinkle and put her away and I just found her this morning. I think I'll work on her as a side trick to Paradise parrot 😁

He is lovely :applesauce:

I did not know about that calendar. I had seen the kits turning up for the individual pieces but not the calendar

:applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: I love Beatrix Potter! One of my favorite places to visit was her home and the surrounding Lakes Area. Best Gingerbread shop in the world was there too! I'm so glad that you found this and will be stitching more of them. Looking forward to watching these develop!

Golly, that was fast! The interpretation of the original drawings is very good. (Love the crossed back feet!) :applesauce:

I had the urge to go back to this one which I bought last November but put away after getting a bit overwhelmed with the size of it and the full coverage. It's called 'The Autumn' and it's by Luca-S whose kits I love. This one will keep me busy for years on and off I reckon but I'm determined to finish it as I really think the finished piece is beautiful. There are 8 charts which I have to half to fit on my chart holder so it's really more like 16!

I've made a good start on the top left corner. I do have it on my Lowery stand but took it off to take the photo.

The colours are much more vivid on your stitching, they really stand out :)
