SQ Sunset Bar Harbor by Kathy A - 10/18 update—it is DONE!!

I just finished the top row!! It only took 70 days to get it done, which is much faster than my earlier Scarlet Quince pattern pace. Definitely still loving the app, and I cannot wait to get to more of the yellow colors of the sky in this second row.

A nice advantage to the app means that I don’t have to be slavish about finishing a page in full before moving onto the next. I had another issue with running out of a color, but since that color’s stitches are just in the lower corner at the end of the row, I figured I would take care of them when I get back to that area at the end of this row.

The left half of the fabric is pretty wrinkly, but you should be able to get a sense of the sky so far.

70 days to do this much absolutely stunning stitching is great progress!!! I don't stick to one page of a chart if there are a few stitches continuing past the page I'm working on. Updates to the app I use lets me have two pages next to each other which is a big help. I am so looking forward to watching your next row grow. I just finished the 3rd row on my HAED and starting the 4th was so much fun. Almost feels like a new beginning.

Two more pages finished in 35 days! I’ll be slowing down soon, though—I have visitors coming in August and things to do before then. I think I’m still on track to finish before Christmas, though!

Beautiful! And amazing progress in only 35 days! At this rate, even with slowing down next month, I think you'll be able to finish by Thanksgiving. Maybe Halloween!

Second row is done!! The third row will be around 35-40 rows of stitches only, so I should have it done before Thanksgiving, I hope. (Excuse the wrinkles!)
