For a good while now I have been Muttering about moving from France to relocate in Scotland.....
Well...we have sold our house here
I use this symbol because there's always that weeny chance that our buyer's sale gets delayed!
So Hopefully by end of November we shall be in The Borders of Scotland
Goodbye to and Hello to and rain!!

You may think that moving from what many consider an ideal climate and lifestyle is strange....but remember the old North Country UK saying ....

There's nowt so strange as Folk!
It goes on to say ...except for me and thee and even thees a bit strange!

I am really happy for you as I know you have been wanting this for quite a while. Will also keep that you will be celebrating Christmas and New Year's in your new abode. I'm trying to remember what you have told us, but of course, I can't. Do you already have a place to move to or is that going to be the next big thing on your list?

We have some temporary accommodation for about a year whilst we wait for a New Build bungalow to be finished next summer.
So Yes, we should be Bringing in the New Year North of the Border!

Oh Wendy you have made my day with that quote. My dear old Grandfather, born in Bradford Yorkshire often said it and I use it occasionally too

Congratulations, Wendy! Somehow your living North of the Border sounds closer to me than France. Based on my own memories of that area, I imagine your new home like Perth, Auchterarder, or Killin. Good luck with moving.

Thanks Lyudmila, we have been trying to rationalise what to take immediately and what to take later. We have to come back here to sign the completed sale on our house.
This afternoon we did a trial packing session and I managed to get in a stitching project....most essential

We have a Really Early start Monday 7th 5am from here to airport..Hope taxi gets her on time.

Off tomorrow Very Early.
