Birthday stitching

Post by Angel »

It’s my birthday on Tuesday and we’re away on holiday so O/H bought me two new kits to do while we’re away since I’m sharing a room with someone who *should* be going to bed at 6 so I’ll have several evening hours to myself lol  I’ve decided to do the cushion one first as I think it will make an excellent addition to my wildling roommates reading corner.

Great kits, and excellent for the place (and person -- wildling, haha, oh yes, I do remember). Early bedtimes are really difficult in the summer... we resorted to blackout curtains in the end.

Have a lovely holiday. :P

Great start! And if you tire of this you can always sew the blackout curtains Serinde suggested :-)

Kid doesn’t mind the light to be fair. She sleeps with a disco light and reading light on in her room and we have the landing light on all night so we’re actually the other way around, our hotel room is blacked out and she doesn’t like the dark  I’m contemplating moving in! It’s soooooo dark! And soundproofed!

Happy Birthday Angel. I love your 2 kits you have taken with you on holiday and the latest acquisition is certainly very interesting.
