Well! That was one heck of a party. :partyhat: All-day breakfast is available for everyone! (We'll tidy up properly later, eh?)

:applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce: Best way to ring in the New Year is to have the virtual cleaners in after the festivities!

Virtual cleaners is totally the way to go, here on the forum. They get paid at a virtual top rate, and do a superb job, naturally.

When my boys were young, I'd just manage the bells for form's sake, then flop into bed. They were no respecters of New Year's protocol. 8)

I know this probably isn't the best place to ask this, but what is Stash and Grab? I've always wondered this and hoped it would be explained at the beginning of the year. Somehow I still missed what it is

Heavens! The Stash & Grab is our virtual pub. It has expanded over the years to include a billiard/pool room, a ball pool (you'll have to ask Angel about that one) and big french doors lead out to a tree house in the garden overlooking the loch. Mabel's Winter Gardens also come into their own this time of year. It also has a revolving door to St Cross Stitchers, our virtual hospital -- but not for the more typical reasons! All the patients benefit from the lovely views and fresh air.

The Stash & Grab is the location of our celebrations and commiserations, a place to hang out (it's very comfortable, with an open fire and lovely sofas and chairs) even a place to stitch, as the lighting always can change to suit your needs. The refreshments are first class, none of the food or drink is calorific, and you never have to clear up. Perfect! :D

"Come with me, and you'll be, in a world of pure imagination"

Basically it's an off topic chat in our imaginary pub where we just keep adding whatever we want. I'm pretty sure it began life as an ever expanding bench at a bar :P

If Nessie is in this particular loch, she's on holiday! But who's to say? 8)

On the other side of the Loch is a forest and grass plains where all endangered species live in harmony. There are Gorillas, Rhino and Orang Utangs for instance.
The Loch feeds a river which flows out to sea where there are cliffs and Puffin Burrows. :whoop: Orca and Dolphin have been seen out there!

Nessie could be visiting her family since we seem to have a nice collection of endangered animals here

Sorry I haven't been on much! I love Christmas and was otherwise occupied over that time but I hate New Year and had one of my panic attacks on New Year's Day. I haven't actually stitched since well before Christmas. I'm going to sit here for a while and relax with a hot chocolate and reflect on what I need to do this year. I have my pet Red Pandas Ralf and Ruth here with me ( ) to keep me company.

Good plan for a Winter Sunday, Nicola!
I can't wait to see more of your Wrendale stitching and to hear what you plan to stitch next.
The days are getting longer now. We are heading towards Spring! :whoop:
