3rd time lucky?

Post by brightflowers »

Hello, Jo here. Joined on Sunday. Tried to post messages twice before during the week but they disappeared!! See another Newbie has posted so maybe 3rd time lucky for me.

Crafted all my life. Started cross stitching 20 years ago. Nature & florals are my preference but also done a few Margaret Sherry & Joan Elliott,

Hope this gets through.

Welcome from me in SW France. I bet the Stitch gremlin took your post for himself! But you made it clear to him that you were not going to be put off!

Now you're here...welcome indeed. You have come to the right place! :whoop:

Phew, thank goodness I got through the gremlin barrier this time :)

Thank you for kind welcome messages. :)

Am getting things together for floral sampler. Not done sampler before & a wee bit apprehensive so wanted a back-up team in case assistance is needed. Silly really as chart instructions are good, saying to start by stitching 4 squared bordered sections for the seasons first & then stitch the bright flowers in allotted spaces. Not a large sampler compared to some but am looking forward to stitching it :)

Your first sampler sounds as though it is a really interesting one and I am looking forward to seeing it. :)
