Thank you all. Update where I am now. The upward thread in top middle is last stitch of where I marked middle of fabric vertically for centre of picture. That is last vertical stitch at the top.

Thank you Mabel. I'm going to have a rest from this as I am bogged down with all the greens at the moment. Can put it aside for a few weeks & come back to it. Have been on it a month so when I get another kit ready will spend 4 weeks on that & do them turn about.
