Of course you had to have them and what a great deal too. I guess we will be seeing them stitched one day which will be fantastic.

Fab four Nicola although not the Beatles! These are so delightful. love the fox best but the look in the rabbit's eye is incredible - so lifelike. No wonder you had to buy all four. How could you not. I had Very Crafty email & looked through them I still love the squirrel but did not buy any.

These latest 4 certainly do make up a lovely picture of British wildlife. Enjoy stitching them when you have time & we'll all enjoy watching these beautiful pictures grow.

Sally, what perfect presents for Betsan and Steve! I assume that the "map" one will be for Steve and the "Kiwi" one for Betsan?
Great find :D

Mabel, the treads look so beautiful and shiny that the special envelopes are a must. You got "real stamps" too. They are getting a rare thing, now that the post office like printing labels instead of using stamps!
Looking forward to seeing your next project, using these threads...

Nicola, your four new kits are so lovely that I could not decide which was my favourite.
By the way, how are you getting on with your Pako Organizer?

Fantastic! I really enjoy using it and it's so much handier having a bunch of needles already threaded and ready to go! Obviously takes a little time threading them all before a session but I think it's great!

Not really a stash acquisition, and not a delivery either, but a gift from my MIL - we were at the Devon Guild of Craftsmen to see an exhibition, and the had these lovely wooden door wedges. Until now the door of my craft room was wedged open (when it was safe to do so, i.e. the pussycat was outside) with a bright green frog wedge that used to be in one of the children's bedrooms - it works, yes, but this one was something quite different. As I was debating with myself whether I could really justify another extravagance, my MIL took it out of my hands and gave it to me as a present! It now sits looking beautiful in the craft room. Trouble is, it rather shows up the scruffy door....

 I love h and made things where the maker loves the medium he is working with. Ages old craft but always so beautiful - even simple things like this door stop. Lovely for you to receive it from your MIL.

A great and useful gift - just don't look at the floor - and besides you are probably the only to thinks it's scruffy..

The room used to be the boys' "den", Sally - believe me, both the floor and the door are scruffy :-) !

These all arrived the week before last, some of them just before we were setting out for my in-laws so I couldn't even open the parcels or play with them  !
Here are 50 beeswax hearts, now kept in a little china pot that once belonged to DH's grandmother:

Cards from Craft Creations' Value range - not so many different colours but perfectly usable:

Coloured sadi purls:

And some doeskin samples (no, that's not Bambi's mother :-) - it's a very drapy lovely woolen fabric)
