Granny's stitching - update 12-07-2020

Okay, I will try to post an update on Langnek, my second project which I started in June this year.
Sorry the camera on my phone is not that great. But just to get an idea.
It is a character out of a tale called 'the six servants' by the Grimm brothers, which is used by a fairy tale / adventure park called the Efteling in Holland. I like both (fairy tales & the park)
Thanx Richard! It worked!
Maartje.

Love it. Makes a great height chart.
BTW. Have you seen they are starting work on an amazon series of "Good Omens" with David Tennant as Crowley and Michael Sheen as Aziraphale. Thought you would like to lnow as it's Pratchett in collaboration anyway.

Does look fun. Admittedly a bit creepy with that neck, but I can see how kids would love it.

Richard

He's very funny, but I also have to admit a little creepy.

Langnek! Ik word helemaal nostalgisch
(I'm going all nostalgic - most Dutch children will have fond memories of this theme park and of Long Neck)

Below my update on Langnek 03-09-2017.
I have finished his neck and have been backstitching all those leaves and branches in the middle. I love how all these details seem to pop up using a backstitch. However, now I need a short break
Greetings, maartje
