My latest finish- an Easter Towel. The picture does not show that it is stitched on Zweigart's white with pearl thread Aida.

What a beautiful finish - did you hem it yourself? And is that a sparkle I see in the fabric?

Yes, I edge it myself, the method is called "merezhka". And this is Zweigart's White Aida with Pearl effect, so in reality it is sparkling. And being snow-white it makes the design itself look fresh (but not shouting) and spring-like. The lady to whom I gave it could not take a better photo.

Thank you for asking. On the towel you can see a traditional Easter bread more usual in Eastern and central Ukraine. In the Western part of the country Easter bread looks like in the picture I am adding, and it has no fruit in itself and can be sweet or not sweet.

Does it taste a bit like a French brioche?

One of finishes. I told you in this household stitching takes less time than taking a photo of it.

How nice little girl with a dog!
And that Venice thing is pretty too! You're one master stitcher! I can only stitch needlepoint and the canvas must be stamped that I can stitch on it.

Oh that is so cute,
I wonder what is in the bowl, strawberries and cream or raspberries and cream?
You have finished it off beautifully.

Thank you all for your kind comments. "Cuties" are not my cuppa, but had to stitch this as a 1 year birthday present for a little girl.
My next project will be shown only when it is completed as it is a tablecloth which actially includes 5 separate designs. It is one of the oldest UFOs from the bottom drawer. The theme is "Australian birds", but in the centre is my favourite possum by Jan Woodman. Today I am finishing "Guelder rose" by Luca-S.
