Thank you all for your kind comments. With such a powerful support I am sure I will cope with the Artecy's red-tailed black cockatoo which turned the WIP into a UFO, especially as the bird is 1/3 done. The rest of the charts are by Jan Woodman and Jan Skinner and are a pleasure to stitch.

My 10 year old UFO finished at last. Sorry for the quality of the photo. Believe me, the picture is clean and the fabric is white and it is spread on topof a 1.5 m piece of white 14 count Zweigart Aida which arrived the day before yesterday. Despite the camera's fault, you can see all the work put into this design.

The camera is asking for being taught how to fly - in reality the guelder rose is on snow-white Zweigart Aida with pearl thread.

WOW Lyudmila, Well done on finishing the 10yr old UFO - it is totally amazing and so many wonderful little motifs in it.

All of your stitch is wonderfully colourful stitched evenly and the completed works awesome and such a variety of designs.
My favourites are the guelder rose fabulous colours and the oh so colourful butterfly one.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful stitching. :whoop: :whoop: :whoop: :whoop: :whoop: :whoop:

Thank you, Vanessa, Thank you, Sally, for your kind comments. They do matter so much as you both are experienced experts yourselves.

And yes, it really feels great to turn an old bearded UFO into a nice finish. We may be very happy with each stitch, but the moment when you have just finished your work and it goes into washing is above all.
