So because I don't and refuse to get Facebook, I thought I would share these with ya'll

Yesterday was my 10th anniversary with my husband and we got fancied up. My husband spent 4 hours and about 50 youtube videos learning how to tie his bow tie.


Went to dinner at a place that cost about half my paycheck


but the food was so so so worth it. Food was amazing.

on a side not for our anniversary I had my father in law (who built the local zoo) to build my husband's bird an outside cage........though it may work as a child cage as well

The child cage... I think we called them play pens, but (of course) they didn't have built-in tops... and the children in question were very young... but this has possibilities for teenage boys if it was slightly bigger and had a little, badly ventilated, dark den...

Love the bird cage (or playpen depending on who the occupant is). Laverne has her very own screened in catio which she loves. One of the first things my DH did when we moved into our house was to build a screened in porch for the cats. Did I ever get a screened porch? Guess.
