WOW you have made good progress with this lovely gift for your Dad. I am looking forward to the next update - or maybe it's finish :) Definitely a gift to treasure for sure. :applesauce: :applesauce: :applesauce:

Now to figure out how I'd like to frame it. I kind of wanted to do a card, but the linen seems to have stretched a bit on the edges, and I'm worried about a clean finish if I try that.

And back as always:

Splendid finish...and the back looks so neat! :applesauce:

To tighten it up (as long as your floss is dye fast) I would swoosh it through some lukewarm water then when almost dry, place it Right side down onto a fluffy towel, put a clean cloth over it and give it a quick, not too hot, iron. I've done that with several of mine and it comes up a treat!

:applesauce: Great finish!

Agree with wash/iron advice, works every time for me. Cotton thread is usually colourfast but you could always test a corner of the fabric first if you're worried seeing as it's hand-dyed.

Yup, that's exactly what I was going to suggest. It all comes out in the wash...

Very cute! Are those glow-in-the-dark eyes on the racoon? 8)

Very neat stitching. :applesauce: What do you do with minis when they are finished- frame? Or do you turn them into fridge magnets/broaches/keyrings?

Well my little 3" hoops came in today so I framed them!

Almost. It's the neon satin thread. I wish it doubled as glow in the dark!

Here's all the minis laced up into hoops! I dod the hummingbird today and started the little sleeping fox this evening. I'm disappointed that my camera still refuses to phitigraphbthe huge amount of sparkles.

Mine also. There is something about the relaxed confident way he is staring up at you that makes me smile!
