I agree with what everyone has said. The use of regular and blended threads is what makes SQ designs so amazing and such a challenge. (I have secured 3 magic benches for this thread, plus a hot drinks machine.)

If SQ ever does a carpet page from Book of Kells, I'm so going to do it.

We'll definitely need the capacity! But I vote for drinks magically brought over from the Stash & Grab :-) - drinks from machines are generally not very nice...

Mabel Mabel Mabel. This isn't just any hot drinks machine, it's a Stash & Grab Hot Drinks Machine! (Yes, there are marshmallows for the hot chocolate, too.)

It’s been another while, but I have been keeping up on my stitching! I just haven’t been taking photos of my progress. Well, I just now finished off Row 3 (of 5 1/2) and remembered to take a pic before repositioning the fabric in the frame.

Oh my. That is truly remarkable. It looks simply stunning. The SQ designs are not the easiest (slight understatement) and you're doing a perfect job.

I take my hat off to you.

Richard.

Wow, guess I haven’t updated in about six months! After figuring out a TinyPic replacement, I think I have it figured out. Finished off another row in those six months. Only one and a half rows to go! (The “half” is the height on the page, btw.)

Oh WOW and WOW again. That is an awesome design and you are stitching it beautifully. You are amazing to even attempt something that large and intricate. :whoop: :whoop: :whoop: :whoop: :whoop: :whoop:

This is fantastic and I am sooo happy to see your update!!! What a beautiful and truly delightful piece this is. I don't know if this makes sense, but you can almost feel the depth and satiny texture of this design. Please keep us updated!

I cant express it better. The tree and its leaves do look 3D. :applesauce: The closer to the finish, the more beautiful the whole picture looks. Happy stitching! We are all looking forward to further updates.
