Karen, This is such a fun piece. I suppose we all need that little pick-me-up in the morning before we can get our energy to get going. I am looking forward to seeing more updates on this piece...or maybe a quick finish.

I just bought this pattern! I'm going to stitch it for my friend who is a total coffee addict. Thank you for doing this SAL. I am really looking forward to doing this piece. Yours looks so beautiful!

This is a marvellous piece -- and soooo true (tho tea in my case). However, my sisters are both coffee fiends first thing in the morning, and I can just imagine doing this, or something like it.

So what was the original size and why are you stitching it in 40ct? Just cuz you can?

the original stitch count is 170 by 195 and actually calls for stitching it up on 40 ct and I really do rather like the look of it on the 40 ct--ha, uses less thread that way too ---it is quite a fun piece and the facebook group is really a nice one too. Even the designer is a member of the group and has offered up the changes in lettering for those that want to use soda, tea and diet cola
I'll be adding an updated photo later today--getting very close to a finish now!!
