7 years?
7 years?? Well, all I can say is that the move was well worth it, despite upheavals; you give every impression of being very happy in yourself and with your work. And then there's Stephen. Hooray!!

I haven't lost my stitching bug. I've lost my housekeeping bug. Now this is not entirely unusual
, but my (other) sister is arriving on Wednesday and really, ...
So if you happen to find it, please ask it to come home, at least briefly?

I saw it here last week!
And thank goodness, too as we'd had D/D and her 3 for a week!
They managed to use EVERY towel in the house and completely empty the 'fridge and freezer!
I didn't think you'd mind me borrowing it as you were Up North having FUN!
So thanks for the loan and I'm sending it straight back!

There is such a thing as a housekeeping bug
? I'm glad I've never caught it
Seriously though, I definitely needed to do some cleaning before going off on holiday (Youngest will look after himself and guard the house just fine, but is not much of a housekeeper), and decided to get through it as quickly as possible, then play with designs as a reward.

I think my housework bug went into the witness protection program long ago.

In witness protection program you get a new name, right? Perhaps it is called stitching bug since.

Well, whatever it's name, it came back in the nick of time! Sister safely installed, and we are having a ball in this wonderful summer weather, mostly in the garden. Next week DH and I are whisking her away to the Far North, so that should be fun...! But if I'm not around much, you know why.

Just sent off the papers to close Mum's bank account - and that's the last of the paperwork with her name on it. Feels odd. Not sure this is the weather for a hot chocolate, but I'll have one anyway.

It's our virtual pub, Nicola, so you can come and have your favourite food and drink, have a chat, find a quiet place to stitch, whatever you like!

I'm off tomorrow so I plan on doing quite a bit of cross stitch! Determined to get this Mallard finished now that I'm on a roll and then I can start my squirrel! Looking forward to trying my hand at these new bookmarks I've just purchased too. Thank you Mabel for the tips on the bookmarks
