I really wasn't needing to buy anything else as I have so many kits to do but I saw these Vervaco flower bookmarks and I fell in love and just had to buy them! I loved the pretty colours and I do like my florals! Have never done any bookmarks before so this is something new I will be trying! xxx

On a cold grey morning they do bring a smile to the face. Looking forward to seeing your WIP of these two.

She was on the wish list and now she's on the bought list! OK that's it no more spending money on kits! I have enough to do as it is! :tizzy:

I love bookmarks, and those are perfect! They are hard for me to hold and stitch tho.

I just finally got some white thread from everythingcrossstitch.com to finish Pt Loma Lighthouse.

My third Wrendale Designs kit arrived today. I'm seriously thinking about starting her after I've finished the duck. I know the perfect wall in the other lounge where she could go

This is the cutest thing I have ever seen! I never thought I liked roosters or chickens all that much until I was in a Pier One store one day and there was this wooden rooster with bendy legs & wings. I about lost it, I was laughing so hard I couldn't stop, I have no idea why. My husband bought it for me for my birthday. Then during easter last year, I found the cutest stuffed chicken that has really long, fluffy hair (like the troll dolls, but all over). The hair is really fine and blows in the wind, it cracks me up. I think I'm going to have to buy this pattern, too!!

I picked up 41 skeins while visiting my local craft Ben Franklin today after driving a stupid 30 minutes to get my dog's special food (no clinic near us has it, what a drag). So I treated myself. And boy did I do so... Floss is .59 cents now! OMG. I couldn't believe it! That's .53 Euro or .47 GBP. Last time I bought floss it couldn't have been more than .43 cents, and before it used to be .33 cents forever! I filled out I think, the rest of my DMC regular collection now. There were a couple of mystery numbers but I think I had a mini heart attack over it. Big chain competitors (Michaels, Hobby Lobby) are at .52 cents... Only lower prices I find are online stores. Yeesh.

You deserve the treat! There was a Ben Franklin near me in California and I loved it - and then it closed. I actually didn't even know they were still around.

Each time I see one of the Wrendale Designs, I want to get one of mine out and start it. I'm trying to hard to be good and stay focused on current WIP's, but these Wrendale critters have stolen my heart.

I had a fit last time I bought floss too! Joann's raised the price twelve cents in one go. I'll most likely shop online from now on and pay shipping. NO reason to put up with lines if I'm not saving money.
