Cross-stitch farm animals

Post by heathersmom »

40+ years ago I took a knitting class and used the sample squares to make my son's blankey. I'm doing another for a new grand-niece and would like to put farm animals on it. I would love it if someone could point me to some easy, basic counted cross-stitch farm animals that I can put onto a knitted square. Thank you!

DMC brought out a booklet with small, simple farm animals called "Domestic Animals", in the "Leisure Booklet" series. They're available from Ebay for a couple of quid, and are worth it IMO. (I found the Zoo Leisure Booklet in a charity shop, and from there went on to buy the Domestic Animals, Garlands and Small Figures!)

Hiya, welcome!!

I have a fab book called "Picture your pet in cross stitch"

Clair Crompton, David and Charles

It's mainly pets and horses, but there is a page with bucks, geese, pigs and goats on it. I was hoping it might have more but maybe the author has other books? They are pretty good.

It's one of my favourite books!!!
