Mason Jars

Lately I started decorating mason jars. I have one I turned into a toothbrush holder and also as drinking mugs.

I had to 'google' Mason Jars....I'd heard of Kilner Jars and they look as if they do the same job.

Yes, yes, please, please. (I have a package of pretty blue Mason jars - I had really good intentions when I purchased them.)

My mother used to decorate jars/bottles years ago, using Plaster of Paris/Polyfiller to coat the jar/bottle 3/8" thick, then press sea shells into the surface, let it dry & then varnish. My dad then modified one or two of the bigger wine bottle ones to make them into table lamps. Was popular with her friends for a while (I suspect it was until everyone had one).
