Crossstitchforum - A FREE forum for Cross Stitchers

I just thought some of you might be interested in knowing about this.

I have just been checking FB for an item and saw that 16th JUne - a Saturday - is WORLD KNIT IN PUBLIC DAY. It seems as though quite a few places in Melbourne are going to host events that day.

It just needs someone to host an event on that day and set up advertising it via FB is nowhere else.

Sounds interesting Sally although I am not sure I would like to knit in a large public area. OK on one of the knitting holidays with other knitters. A good way to get people interested in it though. Thanks for sharing

I think that's very cool. Not only will give people an "excuse" to get outside with their knitting, but what a fun way to get conversations started. I hope lots of people take part.
