Both lovely, but Queen of Silk is a stunner of a design

Beautiful work on both projects!
The details are amazing. Are you doing the regular version of the Queen of Silk or the Epic version. Both are fantastic!

Hi Carole, I'm doing the epic version, its going to take a long long time but it'll be so worth it in the end!

You have set yourself a real task there.
Massive, massive job.
However, both the starts are looking beautiful.

Richard.

Thankyou everyone for your comments.
Richard I try not to think about how huge they both are its quite scary! And even worse than that is how long they'll take, probably about ten years
I have a few projects, however I am so absorbed in making good progress on these two I haven't bought any more stash so far this year/ or started a new project/ or worked on any other wips, so maybe I can take a year or two off my estimated finish dates!

Those are both lovely designs. You've made great progress on them. Ten years may seem like a long time, but sometimes ten years goes by very quickly. I'm glad you've enjoyed them so much you've been focusing on them. I've been doing the same thing with my current WIP. I haven't had any desire to rotate out yet because I've been enjoying it so much.

I've been working on Suteki rather than Queen of Silk which I've put on hold for now, simply because I'm not seeing much progress when I work on too many large projects, so I've chosen two of my large wips to concentrate on, the one's I most want to see finished.
I was bought some smaller one's for my birthday back in April but I've not started on them yet, but I may do next year as they are not so intimidating!
Here is Suteki.
Thanks for looking.
