Thanks for the encouragement everyone! I definitely feel right now. I think what is really bothering me is that DH has been working with his dad on the addition to their house instead of them going out on jobs every day so far this week. That puts him only 10 minutes away when he calls to say that he's on his way, plus they usually end the day early. Like right now, he's on his way when if they were working on someone else's house, he wouldn't be home for at least another hour. Sorry for ranting!!

I know the project is doable. I have the mat and frame here so I don't have to worry about that. I'm just hoping to have time to wash and iron it before Christmas Day. I've thought about sneaking away to my mom's house Friday night under the pretense that since I can't help her get ready for the family party that is on Sunday during the day Saturday that I offered to help on Friday night to get another couple of hours in. We'll see if it's necessary. I will be very happy if I just get it stitched before Christmas. If I don't get it framed, that's fine.

Okay, here's the promised pic. Sorry it's a little bigger, but this way you can see what's left. The open space in the tree is all half stitch black that I just haven't gotten to yet. There is also backstitch that needs to be done on the tree. I'll try to take a pic tomorrow before DH gets home so you can see how much closer I am. If I plan on posting a pic, it makes me work a little faster.

Lunchtime break update. I guess I have to fix lunch for myself and Kailey, so I've taken a pic to show where I am right now. I've worked on it for close to 4 hours already today. I've only done the black....hopefully I can get that color done today.

Well, I'm STILL working on the black. I've had to put this away for today because DH is on his way home and my daughter has her make up gymnastics class tonight. I'm debating on whether or not to take this to my mom's tomorrow night to secretly work on. I've already mentioned to DH that Mom might need my help tomorrow night to get ready for the party Sunday, and since we'll be out of town Saturday, tomorrow night is the only time I can help. We'll see. I've stil got cupcakes and mini muffins to make for this weekend. Tomorrow will definitely be busy with cooking and stitching! Here's the promised pic for today.
