Glad to hear that you have sparrows your way. I have blue tits, starlings and robins in my garden but sparrows are rare visitors, nowadays.
Mind you, I live in the Surrey/Kent borders and we have loads of those bright green parokeets, which frightens other birds!

There definite signs of interest in two of the holes in the Sparrow flats. With luck some/most will be occupied soon. We have a 1 acre garden, most is entirely beyond our control, so we just try to manage it to be wildlife friendly. That leads to rodents as well as everything else. The cats go some way to keeping the rodents down, and fortunately have little impact on the birds.

Thanks for your kind comments on 'Gryff'. It is a slow business, but it'll get there in the end.

Same here!!!

I thought I'd carry on with Gryff until I had finished the page. Completed the page last night, so I can now go over to 'Luz' for a while.
So, finished page 17 shown on the chart below:


This is the progress:

So, that's 26214 stitches complete from 98984, or 26.5% complete. In about 1.25 years. That is indicating an end of 2020 finish. I think I need to get a move on!
