Here is my first project that I finished. After I was done, I noticed that I had added an extra stitch around the owl's eye on the left, and haven't gotten around to adding another under it to make it more even.

I wouldn't worry too much about the back. There is a reason it is called a back. Unless I am stitching something where the back might be seen (like an afghan), I try to not pay much attention to it.

What a lovely little owl!

I've been stitching to order - four more coasters in aid of the church building fund. They wanted them all the same colour, but I did vary the border and the bars.

I've also done a coaster! This is for my friend's sister whose birthday is in March. She's just recently bought a new cat (grey and white) and so when I saw this Margaret Sherry design I knew it would make a perfect gift! :)
