fccs's Modern London - pillow 22 March

I started this a couple nights ago. It's by our own LastingAllure and I'm making it for my friend's daughter who is spending a semester studying in London. I thought it would be fun to finish it as a pillow and have it on her bed when she returns. We'll see if I can make that happen.

I'm doing it on 16 count dove grey Aida (even though it doesn't look like it in the picture) and I love the way it looks so far. Thank you, Shannon, for a wonderful design!

I know, but honest, it is. I'll try to get better color in the next pic...maybe tomorrow.

It's super fun to stitch, and the needleminder is one of fizzbw's. You just can't go wrong with her stuff.

I had to move the hoop and decided to take advantage of some natural light to get a better picture...now you can see a truer version of the fabric color (although it is still more blue-grey than even this picture shows). I'm really having fun with this one.

I took advantage of a beautiful, sunny, warm morning to sit on my patio and stitch. And look - I "finished" it. The quotes are because it won't truly be finished until I successfully make it into a pillow (hopefully this week). I absolutely loved doing this one...thanks again LastingAllure for a fabulous chart!!

Oh it's lovely!! It will be a brilliant cushion, you will show us when you do finish finish it!

Can you get the hoop makes out? I find it's very difficult to iron out such marks and folded marks. Even if I wash the fabric. Help???
