WOW. absolutely fantastico Mabel. Another one of your exquisite pieces. I love your projects as they are always so neatly worked & you use many different stitches. With the organza as a background in this piece it really sets it off well. You always amaze me with your skills :whoop: :whoop: :whoop: :applesauce: :applesauce: :D

Thanks all :-) - it's really down to the lady at Rowandean for showing anyone who liked how to make these things; that's one generous lady!

That's a cute little thing. It's fun to learn new stuff -- or how to incorporate new things into one's stitching. Hope you had a great time down at the Show.

For a change I have no pressing deadlines so I decided to have a few just-for-fun projects of other people's designs so I don't have to worry about photographing and charting and diagramming :-)

Here is a the first one, a Kelly Fletcher freebie - my apologies for the Christmas theme, that was not intentional! - with an extremely wonky star on top, and baubles done in a variety of stitches. The threads are Caron

That is such a gorgeous design and I imagine it should stitch up quite quickly. Great for cards and I love your colour scheme. Very very tempting. :D

Saw this on Flights of Fancy. Love the different ways you've done the baubles. Would look fab in silk... 8)
