WOODLAND ENCHANTRESS finally completed....

Post by kamor »

Here is a photo of the Dimensions Gold kit, Woodland Enchantress which took me way too long. My next project is much smaller and I will be starting it today. No couching which I hate when especially when using gold thread!

Wow! I know what you mean about couching - not a fan either, but that just looks stunning! I love all the detail on it - the gold backstich along the hem of her clothing, the couched bit and those sparklies.. are the beads or sparkley thread?

The sparklies are clear beads, there is a lot of work, but at the end it's worth the effort. Just need something simple now lol....

This is the first time I've ever heard the term couching! There is lots of fancy looking, tricky stitching detail in this... Congrats on the finish, she is beautiful :applesauce:

I just had a look at your "Umbrella Girl", amazing, what a lot of work has gone into that.
