Such a simple yet genius idea to take a sample out of the whole HAED! Your stitching is great. Coverage is going to be really good, are you coping ok with three over one?

Goodness - this is just SO beautiful, and what a genius idea to stitch a sample of it.

Yes Niki I'm coping fine with it! :D I did a test section (as this is my first time working on 18 count Adia). I didn't feel satisfied with the coverage of 2 over 1. I also like the way the stitches sit up slightly with 3 over 1.

I think an even/consistent approach with the tension on the fabric & thread translates to neater stitching. I've found the need to use slightly more tension on the thread with this arrangement (in order to achieve this neater result) as opposed to the amount of tension I use on the thread when working 2 over 1 on 22 count.

I also like to use quite a large sized needle -this also makes it easier when working with three strands! :)

I’ve finished the top row on the Treasure Hunt Bookshelf Crop! I have just started stitching the lantern and the colors are still amazing! You can just make out the word “Book” on the pink book. Actually it kind of looks more like "Boo!" Unfortunately the detail of the book titles is not that clear, but I still think it’s a lovely chart. This is the normal size version so the titles would possibly be clearer on the larger version chart. I don’t normally grid my stitching but have found it helpful to do so with the confetti in this chart.

Sorry about the image glitch! I've been having issues with photobucket... I moved all my images into folders and all the links on my blog and everywhere else have been lost. Mind you I tested this with an image first to make sure that wouldn't happen (and it didn't with that).. Bit late now since all the image links are now gone... So I'm in the middle of trying to relink all the images in my blogs and posts
It's a bit of a mess
